Now I have talked a great deal about private yacht charters and some of the activities that you can do on them. Most private yacht fishing charter captains will supply you with the fishing gear that you will need to catch fish. This will mostly include, and not limited too fishing tackle, rods and reels, bait, nets, and anything else that you will need to catch some fish in the deep sea.
Some things that you may want to bring yourself are a cooler, if the captain of the private yacht fishing charter does not already have one. Make sure you have plenty of drinks and snacks if you choose to, or if you are going on a long trip that is a couple of days the captain would more than likely include all of this in the initial price of the fishing trip.
If you have not had much experience out at sea you may also want to bring some sea sickness pills. Nothing can ruin an expensive fishing trip out in the ocean or the gulf like being sea sick. Also make sure that you have plenty of warm clothes, just because it is not cold inshore that does not mean that it isn’t cold when you get offshore.
The cost that you can expect to pay per person when hiring a private yacht fishing charter can range from a couple hundred dollars and up. It all depends on how long the fishing trip will be, some are only 4 hours while there are fishing charters that will take you on a fishing trip that lasts up to a couple of days.
